A great e-book that is so easy to use. Its well written and it is easy to follow the instructions. The text and pictures mean that it suits any one. I like to read the instructions and follow the diagrams as well and this is possible. The in-built videos are very helpful and easy to watch. In fact I can now do an odd count peyote turn which I have struggled with until now. I am eagerly waiting for the next in the series.

A beautiful, well-written and well thought out book on bead weaving and French wire beadwork!! The projects range from beginner to advanced, and include some really gorgeous decorations! I love the little packets, and especially the Christmas pudding – how adorable!!! The napkin rings and crackers are wonderful too, and so well explained. I think that these would be fantastic gifts to give as well as making them for your own holiday table – I know I would be thrilled to receive such pretty ornamentation!!

Not only do you get such fabulous projects, but a wide range of information, tips and tricks to beading in all its wonder. The chapters which review basic information (including videos!!) are just packed with bits that will help you to have more success in your beading endeavors.

All in all, a really helpful, informative and fun book!!

Review of Katie Deans “Beaded Christmas” E-Book
I was lucky enough to be chosen to write a review of these set of three E –books by Katie Dean.
Having never read one before, I have been amazed at how brilliant they are. The interactive links made the whole reading experience so enjoyable and good fun.
The contents page is fully interactive and by clicking on a chapter heading you immediately jump to it. Words in blue are also interactive and will lead you to the necessary information very quickly ( Stitch techniques, etc.). The fact that you can zoom in or out when looking at diagrams is especially helpful. The beading diagrams are very clear with thread paths clearly shown.
All projects are graded for both difficulty, and time to complete which is really handy.
The introduction to each book contain lots of really useful information, some of which I don’t think I had read before. The section on useful tips, and correcting mistakes was especially good.
The videos on stitches are great and I feel that even a beginner would be able to follow Katie’s clear explanations.
IN my opinion any of these books would be a valuable resource for anyone looking to make unique gifts, cards, or decorations. ( In addition many of the projects could be used at times other than at Christmas, making it even more of a “good buy”).
